Tuning firm, Novitec Rosso, have added another stage of tuning for the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, upping the power from an already-impressive 740hp to 774hp. The extra power comes from treating the F12 Berlinetta’s 6.3-litre V12 engine to an engine management upgrade – by changing the mapping for injection and ignition – as well as a high-performance exhaust system with high-flow catalysts and butterfly valves. The sports exhaust system can be ordered separately. Other big numbers include a torque figure of 716Nm (26Nm more than standard), a rev limit of 8,900rpm (raised by 200rpm), and a top speed of more than 345km/h.
The exterior gets some aerodynamic upgrades as well, such as: a new front spoiler lip to reduce lift on the front axle; rocker panels to “calm the airstream between the front and rear wheel arches”; and a new rear diffuser. Styling elements include carbon-fibre surrounds for the rear fog lamps and tail lamps, black tail lamps, carbon-fibre covers for the side mirrors, as well as new wheels. The Novitec Rosso F12 Berlinetta is equipped with 21-inch wheels in front and 22-inch wheels at the rear. Available are NF3 (three-piece) and NF4 (forged) wheels, both of which are wrapped around in performance-oriented Pirelli tyres. Novitec Rosso offers a variety of colours for the wheels and can even be had with a carbon-fibre finish on the outer flanges. To help the F12 cope with the upgrades, the suspension has also been lowered by 40mm – which is also accompanied by a hydraulic lift system to keep the driver from scraping the front when going over speed bumps. The car will automatically revert to its normal ride height when it reaches 80km/h, but otherwise it can be lowered or raised by the push of a button. The interior can be upgraded with carbon-fibre, alcantara, and leather touches as well. For more information visit: www.novitecgroup.com/rosso/en/index.php |
