Volvo have revealed a new performance variant of their V60 and S60 models, the Polestar.
On paper, the S60/V60 Polestar seems to have cars like the Audi S4 and Opel/Vauxhall Insignia OPC set as competitors – coming equipped with a twin-scroll turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-six engine producing 350hp and 500Nm of torque (a 2.5-inch stainless steel exhaust system has been placed for an aggressive exhaust note). Acceleration from 0-100km/h takes 4.9 sec and has a limited top speed of 250km/h. The latest installment of Ken Block's stunt driving videos, Gymkhana SIX, has been released. It has been done in collaboration with Need for Speed, and as usual it doesn't disappoint. Definitely a good way to spend 6:30 min. It's a well-known fact that the Lamborghini Aventador makes a great noise. But when you give it an aftermarket Kreissieg exhaust, it sounds even better. It also spits flames like no other. Enjoy. Jaguar have released a teaser photo of their upcoming F-Type Coupé, set for a public debut at the LA Auto Show on November 19.
Jaguar have stated that the all-aluminium coupe will borrow heavily from the C-X16 concept car, and that it will “complement the existing 2013 ‘World Car Design of the Year’ award-winning F-Type Convertible range.” No word on engine details yet, but we can expect the same supercharged V6 and V8 engines found in the F-Type Convertible. Full technical details and images will be made available soon after its reveal, so be sure to come back! Acceleration from 0-100km/h takes 4.9 seconds, while its top speed has been raised to 240km/h. Along with a Dubai Police colour scheme, the B63S - 700 WIDESTAR will ride on 23-inch forged wheels and will come equipped with Brabus Dynamic Ride Control suspension. Brabus and Dubai Police are using the car to promote the “TUNE IT! SAFE!” initiative, which aims to educate tuners about safe tuning and spreading awareness. Lexus has given a preview of their new RC Coupe, which will debut at the Tokyo Motor Show in a few weeks’ time.
The new RC Coupe borrows some styling traits from the LF-LC concept car, and it will come as either an RC 350 or an RC 300h. The RC 350 is powered with either a 3.5-litre V6 engine, while the RC 300h hybrid will come equipped with a 2.5-litre engine. |
