Kia’s new flagship K9 sedan has now gone on sale in the Korean market, with other markets getting the K9 later on this year.
The new rear-wheel drive sedan comes equipped with a gasoline-powered 3.8-litre V6 engine producing 290hp, sending drive through an eight-speed automatic transmission. A more powerful 334hp version of that engine will be launched next year.
The Kia K9 definitely looks elegant, but there is a hint of BMW 7-Series to its design. It does however come with a number of useful features, such as; LED headlamps, Smart Cruise Control (SCC), a lane departure warning system, a 17-speaker sound system by Harman, blind-spot detection, and four cameras to aid maneuvering.
